A 1 gram silver bar is a weight, not a universal shape. If you collect Valcambi-style rectangular pieces, Geiger-style squares or Scottsdale-style mini bars, the practical difference when choosing storage is the fit of each individual piece.
Valcambi-style rectangular bars
For loose rectangular CombiBar-style segments, look for a holder that specifically lists that format. XplrsAttic's range includes compact wallets, 12-slot and 49-slot displays, and a 210-slot removable-tray storage case. These are different layouts for different ways of organizing a collection.
Compare Valcambi-style bar cases. Check the exact product and variant dimensions; a case for loose segments is not a case for a complete connected sheet or an assay card.
Geiger-style square bars
Square bars need square compartments matched to the particular size. Our range includes a 24-slot wallet for 1 gram squares and display options for selected 1g, 5g, 10g, 20g and 1 oz formats. Equal weight does not make a square bar interchangeable with a rectangular one.
Compare Geiger-style bar cases. Review the selected size and whether the holder is designed for loose bars or another stated format.
Scottsdale-style mini bars
Use a holder designed for the specific mini-bar format you own. The XplrsAttic 30-bar sliding case has ten slots that can each hold up to three compatible bars. The 100-slot storage case uses removable trays. Slot count and total stacked capacity describe different things.

What to compare before buying
- Actual dimensions: Length, width and thickness determine fit; weight alone does not.
- Packaging: A loose bar, sealed assay card and capsule need different space.
- Layout: Decide whether you want separate face-up positions or deeper slots that stack pieces.
- Capacity: Choose enough room for the pieces you plan to organize while keeping access practical.
- What's included: Many listings are case only; selected sets include bullion or accessories. Check the selected variant.
Storage is not a tarnish guarantee
Fitted compartments help organize a collection and reduce unnecessary handling and contact between pieces. Do not assume a case prevents oxidation or is airtight or archival unless those properties are specifically documented.
XplrsAttic makes storage accessories compatible with specified bullion formats. Mint names identify intended compatibility; the cases are not manufactured by or affiliated with those mints.
